1v1 Trading
Learn how head-to-head matches work when both traders face the same historical market.
What is 1v1 trading?
1v1 trading is a head-to-head format where two traders compete against each other on the same historical market. Both sides start with equal conditions, so the match is designed to measure skill, decision-making and risk management.
How does a 1v1 match work?
You and your opponent receive the same historical chart replay. As the market unfolds, each of you opens and closes positions independently. When the match ends, performance is compared under the same rules to determine the winner.
Do both traders receive the same market?
Yes. Both traders receive the same historical market, timing and starting conditions. That equal setup is the foundation of fair competitive trading on ChartsLeague.
How is the winner decided?
The winner is decided by overall match performance — not raw profit alone. ChartsLeague considers return together with risk control, drawdown and efficiency so disciplined trading is rewarded alongside results.
What happens in a tie?
If both traders finish with equivalent performance under the match rules, the result is recorded as a tie. Tie-break details, when applicable, are defined in the mode or event rules shown before you enter.
What markets can I trade?
1v1 matches can run on supported markets such as forex, indices and crypto, depending on the match setup. Both traders always trade the same instrument on the same historical segment.
Are spreads and commissions included?
Yes. Competitive matches simulate realistic trading costs such as spreads and commissions so results better reflect practical execution — not friction-free paper trading.
Can I challenge a friend?
You can compete in friendly or direct formats when available, including matches that do not affect global ranking. Check the compete flow for the current ways to challenge another trader.
